Finalise Your Membership

After you submit your Working with Children Check, please complete all six steps below to participate in the Nippers program. ​



Step 1. Register with Surf Life Saving Australia.

  • Click here to create a Surf Life Saving Australia account.

  • Choose the first option (Surf Life Saving Club). 

  • Select Hampton LSC

  • Select My Family (note that any member under age 15 must be part of a family account, and your family group can include dependents up to age 25). If you're an individual age 15 or over, select An Individual.

  • Enter a name for your family group and click Next.

  • On the next screen, enter details for every family member in your group over age 5. Keep adding members until your group is complete.


Continue following the screens to enter contact details, create a passord, etc.  If you need help, you can find registration instructions here. Or email membership@hlsc.org.au and we'll walk you through it!

Step 2. Upload vaccination certificates.

Hampton Life Saving Club requires parents to stay on the beach during Nippers, and needs every family's help for set up, pack up and BBQ. In order to be on the beach or participate in activities, anyone age 12 years and 2 months or older must be fully vaccinated or have a valid exemption.


Please visit the LSV vaccination status form at: vacstatus.lsv.com.au and complete the form for each member of your family.


Step 3. Pay membership fees for your family and each nipper.
Go to the SLSA payment page. Start typing in Hampton LSC to select our club and see a current list of fees.

PAYMENT DETAILS: Where it asks for "Payment Details," please add a description that clearly tells our volunteers what your payment is for, such as "Smith Family, 2 nippers, Eva and Max."

Once your payment has been made, you will receive a confirmation email, HLSC will be notified and we will reach out to you if we have any questions.

Step 4. Email proof of age each nipper.

Send proof of age for any new participants to membership@hlsc.org.au.

Step 5. Complete the Nipper registration form.

Fill out the Nipper Registration Form for each participant (age 13 or younger as of 30th September). 

Step 6. Join Team App
Critical communications (such as last-minute weather-related cancellations) and schedules are sent via Team App, and you'll be able to order and pay for your required high-vis rashies here. Download the app or create an account online (or do both!) Add yourself to all relevant access groups, such as your children's Nipper groups, the Nipper parent group, patrols, etc. Make sure notifications are turned on.
