Finalise Your Membership
After you submit your Working with Children Check, please complete all four steps below to participate in the Nippers program. ​

Step 1. Register with Surf Life Saving Australia.

Choose the first option (Surf Life Saving Club).

Select Hampton LSC

Select My Family (note that any member under age 15 must be part of a family account, and your family group can include any full-time students through university). If you're an individual age 15 or over, select An Individual.

Enter a name for your family group and click Next.

On the next screen, enter details for every family member in your group over age 5. Keep adding members until your group is complete.
Continue following the screens to enter contact details, create a passord, and pay your fees. If you need help, you can find registration instructions here. Or email membership@hlsc.org.au and we'll walk you through it!
​​Step 2. Email proof of age each nipper.
Send proof of age for any new participants to membership@hlsc.org.au.

Step 3. Complete the Nipper registration form.
Fill out the Nipper Registration Form for each participant (age 13 or younger as of 30th September).

Step 4. Join Team App
Critical communications (such as last-minute weather-related cancellations) and schedules are sent via Team App, and you'll be able to order and pay for your required high-vis rashies here. Download the app or create an account online (or do both!) Add yourself to all relevant access groups, such as your children's Nipper groups, age group managers, patrols, etc. Make sure notifications are turned on.
