Hampton Life Saving Club is located on Beach Road Hampton (150 meters North of Small Street). Our venue offers magnificent ocean views, good metered street parking, nearby shops and the beach.
Size, Capacity and Amenities
The HLSC hall is licensed for a capacity of 120 people. The hall is approximately 15 metres long (the side with the view) by eight metres wide, and facilities include a kitchen and bathrooms (2 female toilets; 1 male toilet and urinal; disabled facilities). Our stair-free access is ideal for set up, clean up and all audiences. Hire include the use of a microwave oven, gas stove and large oven, as well as a BBQ (gas not provided), 10 large round function tables and 100 chairs. White tablecloths are available for hire.
The venue is available for engagement parties, kids and adult birthdays, wakes, corporate functions and most general gatherings. However, the hall is not available for 14- to 21-year-old birthday celebrations or sporting club functions.
Terms and Conditions

You must return the venue in the same condition as it was hired to you (HLSC will clean the floors and restrooms only)
You are responsible for obtaining a liquor licence for the event if you intend to sell liquor
All rubbish must be removed at the end of the event
No glassware is permitted onto the balcony
Security is the responsibility of the hirer
Drinks must be finished by 12:30am and the premises vacated by 1am
There is a no-smoking policy in the hall and on the balcony
The cost of any damage will be taken from the bond
First, check the booking calendar below to see if the venue is available for your desired date. During the life saving season (late November to Easter) weekend availability is restricted.
If you are not familiar with the venue, we suggest you make an appointment to view the facilities before you make a decision. If you proceed with booking, an invoice and hire agreement will be emailed to you. Your booking is secure when a minimum of 50% of the costs are paid.
$1,550 inclusive of GST.
This includes access to the venue for the weekend of your wedding, allowing time to bump in and decorate the venue to your style. This also includes cleaning of the floors and restrooms.
$1,000 inclusive of GST.
This includes access from 5pm of the day of your event to 7:30 the following morning. This allows time for bump in and out. This includes cleaning of the floors and restrooms.
$175 per hour inclusive of GST. Book enough time to bump in and out.
Monday to Friday Daytime (7am - 5pm)
$150 per hour inclusive of GST. Book enough time to bump in and out.
A bond of $300 is required for all bookings.
Your booking will not be secured until 50% of the hire costs are paid as a deposit.
