Training
Training allows members to become involved in the Australian tradition of volunteer service and lifesaving.
Our aim is to make Hampton Life Saving Club a centre of excellence within the Bayside district, recognised for the quality of our lifesaving training.
Our goal is to provide high quality, accessible lifesaving education and training opportunities to members through an annual program of education and training in lifesaving awards and non-awards.
The club training team aims to provide all members with a learning environment that gives lots of opportunities for personal development in life saving education and awards and that encourages them to improve their lifesaving knowledge and techniques.
As a club we are committed to continuously improving the delivery and quality of the lifesaving education and training we provide. This includes opportunities each year for qualified members to test their skills and knowledge in realistic scenarios and club events.
Many of the skills and awards we offer are accredited under the Australian Qualifications Training Framework (AQTF) and are highly valued by employers and other community organisations.
There are many ways you can get involved through training in aquatic rescue, powercraft and first aid and emergency care. These are described in more detail on the tabs above.
We look forward to seeing you on the beach!
