Buxton 1.2km Point 2 Point Swim 2009 - It's ON AGAIN!

We would like to thank the competitors, Rotary Club of Sandringham, and the Hampton, Elwood & Brighton Life Saving Club's for making the Buxton 1.2km Point 2 Point Swim for 2008, the great success that it was.

2009 promises to be bigger and better than last year. We've just received confirmation that the date for the Buxton 1.2km Point 2 Point swim will be held on Saturday, 14th February 2009. The first wave will commence at 11:00am SHARP.

Important Information for Nipper Activities - Season 2008/2009

On the back of the success of the 2007/2008 Nippers program and given that there were 226 nippers to manage, we've decided to run the 2008/2009 Nippers program in the same way. The following documents will give you all the information you require:

Patrolling at Hampton

The Hampton Life Saving Club's core function is to patrol the foreshore between the Sandringham Yacht Club and Green Point. We have a small but dedicated team of active lifesavers, and would love to see some new faces down at Hampton patrolling the beach. If you or your friends are interested in becoming a patrolling member, you can read a little bit more about what patrolling is all about here, or you can contact our Club Captain to get some more information about Patrolling.

Don't forget, if you can't get down to a patrol on your rostered day, please arrange a substitute!
